In addition to the existing 22 Postal Circle excluding APS Circle, proposal to create one more postal circle is on the way. The Twenty Third Postal Circle will be the "Telangana Postal Circle" which is going to cater to the needs of the newly created state of Telangana. President gave his nod to create the post of one more CPMG in the nation and other allied posts.
It is not clear the location of the new CO of Telangana Circle (definitely in Hyderabad, but exact location is not known) and the fate of the Present CO of AP Circle. It is expected the AP Cirlce, Circle Office may move either to Vijayawada or the new Capital Amaravathi after 2 or 3 years.
