Minimum pay may be raised to Rs. 20,000

The Minimum pay, recommended by the 7th Pay Commission, may be increased to Rs. 20,000 owing to pressure from Unions, Officials sources, say. Also, some allowances and advances, recommended for abolition by the 7 CPC may be retained.
