The government is likely to appoint a High-level committee to look into the implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations, which was approved by the cabinet. The committee may look into steps to be taken to remove anomalies arising out of the implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations involving pay scales and other issues, as approved by the cabinet on June 29, the Finance ministry said in a statement on 06.07.2016 after the central government employees’ unions leaders met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
